OpenText Intelligent Capture: BatchCopy.exe throwing error “A request to server failed. Request message code: 788, Server returned error code: 6019”

Issue:
When running BatchCopy.exe to copy a batch from server, you are getting either of these error messages:

A. “A request to server failed. Request message code: 788, Server returned error code: 6019”
B.  “A request to server failed. Request message code: 788, Server returned error code: 6005”



Error codes 6005 and 6019 are similar Intelligent Capture Errors.

6005 -       IA_ERR_LOCKWAIT                    Error - waiting for node lock.
6019 -       IA_ERR_LOCKWAITFORSAVE   Error: waiting for saved node lock.

 

Resolution for Error code 6019:

Check and clear locked nodes in Intelligent Capture Administrator.  The node(s) may be locked if the batch was not released (deferred by the operator in ScanPlus) or if an issue such as power failure occurred when closing the batch. 

Steps

      1.  In Administrator->Batch Traffic, double click on the batch and select View ->Locks.
     The Batch Locks pane displays the batch nodes that are locked.

      2.  Select the node(s) to unlock, right click and select Unlock/Unlock All 



 

Resolution for error code 6005:
A client module may be processing the batch.  

Steps
1.   In Administrator > Batch Traffic, check the if batch Status shows "Working".  
     Wait for the batch to complete or close the batch if the module is an attended module (Completion).
